Anticipating Baby N

Yeah to my first maternity session of 2012!

My hearty friends, please help me in congratulating WaWa and Carol on their first lil princess.

When Carol first contacted me, I believe she wasn’t even 20 weeks yet! 

They really didn’t want to miss their maternity session….

and we kept in touch since January, making sure we were still on the same page.

Narrowing down a location wasn’t so hard, I just told her to carry a change of clothes and bring some booties/teddy bear….

something to personalize their shoot.

Little did I know they would come with hangers and hangers of clothes…. LOL!

Enjoy some of the images we made.

 

 

Lil princess barely has one more month before her big arrival.

They are still confused about her first name, but we know it starts with an ‘N’.

So come back soon to officially ‘meet’ baby N, you heard!!

And to the parent-to-be, hope you are catching all the sleep right now, cos we all know how it goes once the baby is home!

Congrats and can’t wait for our newborn session.

Fab Girls Rock: Ms Natashia

My fab girls really do rock!!

Introducing Ms Natashia….

 

This, I have to say, was probably one of my fastest shoots ever.

We were introduced by a mutual friend who had shared some pictures I had done of her daughter…..

and all it took was one email to hit it off with Ms Natashia.

When she told me that she hadn’t taken any pictures of herself since her senior year in HS,

I knew I had to work some magic and bring out the lioness in her….. or is it cougar-ness….. LoL!!

She came totally ready for the lights, camera & action!

Looking all zexxy, confident and simply beautiful.

For Giggles: Feisty Ms. Ceke

My hearty friends,

say hello to my little friend….

I have shot quite a few toddlers in the last year,

but never have I ever met a little one with so much energy!

Let’s just say, I worked hard for my money hahahahah and had tons of fun keeping up with her.

This is Ceke, my latest bundle of joy!

We have known her parents for a few years now, thanks to my BFF Susan who introduced us the first time.

Hubby and I have seen them flourish from their dating days,

to their wedding day….

and now tagging their own lil 18-month minnie-mummy!

 

Thanks guys for finally making this shoot happen.

I look forward to many more fun, outdoor sessions to mark Ceke’s milestones thru’ the years.

Beautiful Angela – Prom 2012

Its prom season…. and this was my date! 

Oh yeah, suki suki !

Ok, on a serious note, allow me to re-introduce Ms Angela. 

She’s such a kind soul, very light-hearted and has the biggest smile.

Besides her LOVE for music and dancing, you would never guess what she’s signed up to do when she finishes HS…..

BOOTCAMP!!  

I truly admire her for dedicating herself to serve this country.

I had the pleasure of capturing some images as she was getting ready for her senior prom later that evening.

Friendship is truly a special thing….

Hubby and I are super excited to introduce Ms S, whom we have known since our college years. She holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. But the one I would like to share with you all is that, even though she lives in Baltimore…. when I took the leap of faith to delve into photography, she promised me that she would bring her family down for a shoot….. and this past spring break, she paid us a visit and we had tons of fun, catching up on girlie stuff, relationships,mommyhood and yes the BIG DAY.

I am sure am speaking for many when I say that we are so happy for this new chapter in their lives. We wish her and her new found love a future filled with happiness, days filled with joy and togetherness & that all their dreams come true.

For Giggles: Baby Imani 6 Mths

You know that statement…. ‘Oh my gosh, they grow up soo fast!!’….

I know its cliche, but it is so true. 

Kids:- they are helpless one minute… and then you blink a few times;

and they are blubbering words, pulling your hair, smiling back when you call their name… 

and its time to blow their first candle!

One of my favorite lil’ pumpkins, Imani, is halfway thru her first year and we always have a fantastic time together.

…. and her big brother can never get enough of her.

Glamour Shots: Mrs K

A couple weeks ago I indulged in something I have been longing to do since I delved into this photog journey.

A boudoir shoot!

Its one thing to take pics of babies and make mummy smile and even get teary eyed….

but nothing compares to seeing that same mummy gasp in awe when she chimps thru’ the camera to see herself

looking zexxy, glamorous & gorgeous…. even surprising herself because she never knew she had it in her!! 

This was a first for me;

but my sincere hope is that I shall be making lots of mummy’s dreams come true.

That even after lots of spit ups, and getting pee’d on …. and sleepless nights…

they need to be reminded that they are still beautiful, inside and outside!
